Dr. Maxime Lefebvre, Research and Development Institute for the Agri-environment inc. (IRDA), is hoping to make it easier for farmers to control cutworm. He and his team are studying cutworm in the lab and in the field to better understand how population dynamics are affected by temperature, humidity, pathogens and parasitoids. This information will be used to develop predictive models which can be used to optimize control measures on farms.
